RO6 is to be used in the BF7 heavy duty whole house filter system (only)
to remove the iron and hydrogen sulfide (rotten
egg smell) from the water especially if you are on your own
well. RO6 is the whole house filter replacement cartridge effective in
the removal of iron (ferrous) and hydrogen sulfide at POE (point of entry).
The KDF 85 process medium used in these filter cartridges consists of
high purity copper-zinc granules that use redox to reduce iron, hydrogen
sulfide, heavy metals, and control microorganisms in potable water. These
filters allow for the removal of iron and hydrogen sulfide without the
use of chemicals. The service flow rate on the RO6 is 5 gallons per minute
for potable water. Cartridge life is 1 month or 3,000 gallons of water.
