| The CBF20 is a undersink water filter that uses the CB20 Carbon Block filter cartridge. The CB20 cartridge Reduces Rust and Sediment, Improves Taste - Reduces Odor and Chlorine 99.95%, Removes Cryptosporidium & Giardia Cysts by 99.99%, Removes Asbestos by 99.19%, Removes lead by 96%, Removes mercury by 84.4%, Removes VOC's by 99.1%, Removes MTBE by 89% . Average cartridge life is 6 months or 750 gallons of water at a flow rate of 0.5 gallons per minute. The micron rating is 0.5 and the smaller the micron the finer the filtration of the water. The CBF20 Includes: CB20 Cartridge, Separate Long Reach Faucet for Filtered Water on Demand, Pressure Release Valve, Tank Removal Wrench, Mounting Bracket, Saddle Valve, Installation Hardware. unit from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures. Keep above 35 degrees F.
-Do not use pipe dope or similar compounds. They can ruin plastic. Use Teflon tape to seal pipe thread joints. -Keep unit clean with soap and water. Do not use spray cleaners or insecticides near unit. -Intended for indoor, non-commercial use only. -For extended periods of non-use turn the water off and remove the filter cartridge. Place the cartridge in a plastic bag, seal, and refrigerate. -Safety glasses must be worn during installation. -Tubing and hose dimensions are based on outside diameters (OD). For water line sizes other than those listed, consult a plumber or hardware store. -Before using the water, flush the new filter for 30 minutes. -Run drinking or cooking water for 5 - 7 seconds prior to collecting the water for use. -Change cartridge stated at manufacturer's suggested interval or sooner is you notice a change in color, taste or low water pressure. -Filter is not a water purifier and is not intended for use with contaminated water. -Comply with all state and local laws regarding the installation of water treatment devices. -Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. -The rubber O-ring provides the water tight seal between the cap and the housing. It is important that the O-ring be properly seated in the groove in the housing or a water leak could occur. -The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water filter device are not necessarily in your water. -Use of ANY cartridge other than an Omni filter will void your warranty. -Replace tank O-ring with every second filter cartridge change. -DO NOT use wrench to tighten tank. -Use wrench ONLY for tank removal.
